Event Details

Join some of the researchers behind the LIREC project for an evening of discussion to close this 5 year long research project on the exploration of our possible future living with robots and digital agents.

 

Agenda:

 

19h00:  Opening drinks & snacks

19h30:  Opening remarks from Pr Peter McOwan, LIREC Project Coordinator at Queen Mary University of London.

19h45:  Panel Discussion  moderated by Pr Noel Sharkey (University of Sheffield)

Adam Miklosi (Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary) who will speak about the impact of dog studies on robotics.

Henriette Cramer (Swedish Institute of Computer Science, Sweden) will share her point of view on the ethics of robots and how to design them.

Secundino Correia (Cnotinfor, Portugal) will share his work developing a gaming app based on software developed by LIREC .

Patricia Vargas (Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh) will share her thoughts on the impact of collaboration on computer science for robotics.
